- [ ] Olita Aftersun Serum is AMAZING! If your skin is feeling dry from swimming all day or needs a little repair after a sun burn, you need to use this body serum! I was gifted the Olita sunscreen, Beach Be Gone powder and this Aftersun body oil which has my skin glowing and feeling amazing! I am so thrilled to know this brand uses clean ingredients to nourish the skin and protect the environment! I am trying my best as a makeup artist and consumer, to buy items that will help our environment or reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible. The after sun body oil is such a great spin on a traditional “after sun” aloe product! This product is so much better than any aloe/burn relief I have ever tried, for a couple of reasons. First, the product is “dry oil” as opposed to a gel or cream,etc. The oil is lightweight but nourishing, with aloe and vitamin e. It is easy to apply all over with the spray formulation and it absorbs so nicely into the skin. Best of all it is NOT STICKY, GREASY, or HEAVY. Now, I haven’t gotten a bad sunburn just yet but as someone who does burn, I would much rather apply this on a burn than any other form. For those who tan, this nourishing oil will keep your skin from peeling and help hydrate and moisturize your skin for a healthy glow that will last longer. I was able to try the fragrance free option, which was nice particularly because I have sensitive skin. I actually got some amazing use out of this that is not completely sun related. I had an exercise induced heat-rash/eczema flair up that was pretty red and itchy, and the after sun spray helped calm inflammation/redness and provide moisture/skin barrier repair so my flair up healed very quickly. Definitely a nice multipurpose, all around skin essentials.

I was pleasantly suprised with the way this felt! Super lightweight and not greasy or sticky. I was kind of hoping it would have a scent and thought I would be disappointed it didn't. But I wasn't! It was a nice enough product that I didn't feel like I was missing out. I burn VERY easily and even though I use spf every time I'm outside, I still burn. It's crazy. But this stuff felt very calming and soothing on my skin. Very reparative. It soothed that dry tight feeling you get after a sunburn. My kids liked it too. I'm very excited to keep using this as it gets warmer and warmer, even though I hope I don't have to! Because using it will mean I didn't do a good enough job keeping up on my sunscreen! But all in all a very pleasant product. I would recommend.

I have skin that sits perfectly between a Fitzpatrick I and Fitzpatrick II - meaning I have fair/light skin but typically burns easily and gets tan after the burn. With personal experience, I begin to get red under direct sunlight within 15 minutes and my skin will become hot and irritated without proper protection and reapplication of sunscreen.
