I think this one sat in a warehouse storage for too long. It smells like rancid oil and looks like the top layer melted and resolidified. That being said, the shampoo works. I had to scrape off the top layer because it was unusable (stinky and didn't lather), but the rest of the bar is fine. This is why I typically avoid buying bath and cosmetic products on Amazon.It does a great job cleaning off residues from my hair. If you have dry hair, you will need a conditioner afterward - it really cleans off everything!The scent is very masculine. Be aware.

Product doesn’t work !!!
I've used bar shampoo for years but I've never used this brand before and figured I'd give it a go. It was a disaster. My hair felt even worse after using it. My hair felt heavy and I felt like I needed to wash my hands after running my fingers through my hair. A friend said my hair felt like it was putty. I threw it out after a week. Never again.
