Organic Mineral Sunscreen Lotion — SPF 30

- [ ] Olita Mineral Sunscreen is my favorite sunscreen to wear! With the weather changing to sunny days, I want to be outside as much as possible but with the best protection that can nourish my skin at the same time. Olita Mineral Sunscreen has hydrating ingredients like olive oil, coconut oil, jojoba seed oil and shea butter! The spf coverage from this sunscreen is similar to others however, the reapplication is a lot easier. Always be sure to reapply sunscreen after dipping into the water or being outside for more than hour so that your skin will love the addition moisturizer and protection from the sun. I have tried with sunscreen under my foundation but recommend using a creamer foundation to mix with the foundation or premix before applying into the face.

So I need it to be nice and light, and potentially play well with my makeup. I'm not giving this 5 stars for that reason. I feel like it made my makeup separate and affected the wear a little bit. That's okay though, I'll just wear this on beach days exclusively, or no makeup days. I love that it's a 30 spf, that's a really nice amount. Didn't leave a white cast or feel TOO greasy. Which was nice. I also love that it's reef-safe and the packaging is really user-friendly. it's thick enough that it didn't become runny or slimy on the tube. I would recommend it or beach days.

As a licensed esthetician and make up artist, I know the importance of proper spf application/usage. SPF is an often skipped or unfavorable step, but it plays a very important role in keeping skin healthy, preventing damage, and slowing down signs of aging. Let me say, I love the fact that this is a mineral sunscreen that is made with organic, non-toxic non GMO ingredients (and is also “reef safe” and environmentally friendly). As a person with very fair skin, I really need to use sunscreen if I’m out or I will burn, but I also have sensitive skin that reacts to chemical spf’sand most non-“clean” products. Olita’s fragrance free formulation feels amazing on my skin and does not irritate me in any way! I really love that this is water resistant for up to 80mins making it perfect for outdoors activities as the weather gets nicer! Great product, excellent price point, and impressive brand overall

For anyone looking for a good mineral sunscreen, the OLITA Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF30 is a great option. However a downside I had with this sunscreen was that it was a bit difficult to distribute the product in my skin, as the cream seems to be too thick to spread evenly.

I have just 3 words to start this review: “holy whitecast, Batman!” Good Lord. This sunscreen is a huge no in my book.Even prior to application, I found this sunscreen to be so thick that I had to fight to make it come out of the tube. Then I started with a pea sized amount and tried to warm that into my skin as best as possible, but the formula was so rich I found it hard to absorb. Then the white cast. Hoo boy. I’m pale enough as it is, I don’t need any help in that department. But this “helped”, and then some. I was so excited for this masterclass; not only do I love the beach and worship the sun, but I’m going on a trip with my best friend to Cabo and was so excited to take the Olita products I received with me. Needless to say, this one is staying home and won’t see the light of day.
