The value of Vitamin E is found in the way it supports hair’s elasticity. Adding a lipid layer can help seal the hair cuticle, giving your hair a shinier appearance and reducing breakage which leads to split ends. The Vitamin E we choose to use is derived from a natural food source unlike synthetic vitamin A that is can be obtained from petroleum products.

How to use this sulfate free shampoo bar
Solid soap bars are a great eco-friendly alternative to liquid sulfate free shampoos plus they leave no wasteful plastic bottles behind when you are done with the shampoo. Here is a quick guide on how to successfully use a sulfate free shampoo bar and set the right expectations for the results.
- Completely saturate your hair with water before washing.
- Rub the bar between your hands to get the lather started.
- Rub the bar over your head, focusing the application more on your scalp, than the length of your hair. Set the bar down.
- With both hands, use your fingertips to scrub your scalp, working the soap lather over your scalp and length of your hair as you go. The key is to clean your scalp to remove the dirt and oil for best results.
- Rinse hair thoroughly. Repeat if necessary
- Apply conditioner to your hair, if desired. Conditioning is always recommended to balance the pH levels in your hair after shampooing and smoothing the cuticle down for a shinier appearance.
PS – Use warm water when washing and conditioning your hair. The warm water will help to cleanse the hair and the conditioner will be able to penetrate better. Use cool water as a quick rinse before getting out of the shower. The cold water will help to close the cuticle and keep the moisture and nutrients from the conditioner in your hair.

SET YOUR EXPECTATIONS APPROPRIATELY.
If you are accustomed to using a shampoo with sulfate in it, then using a sulfate-free shampoo on your hair will feel very different. When your hair is wet, just after washing and rinsing, your hair will most likely have a ‘greasy’ or ‘heavy’ feel because the natural oils remain on your hair strands although the dirt has been washed away. Traditional shampoo strips the hair of all the oil, leaving that squeaky-clean feeling.
The natural oil in our hair helps keep it from getting too dry or frizzy. When we strip the oil away, we need to use more styling products to put moisture back in. That’s why shampoo bars that don’t have sulfates are good for curly hair- they help the curls stay moist and looking natural. Use some conditioner after washing to help seal (flatten) the hair follicle.
DRY AND STYLE AS USUAL, THEN DECIDE IF A SULFATE-FREE SHAMPOO BAR IS RIGHT FOR YOU.
If you do not like the way your hair performs after styling, you can use his bar as an effective body soap or hand wash. Either way, you do not have to let the bar go to waste!
Please set your expectations appropriately so you are not disappointed by the shampoo usage of this product. Happy showering!
