Collapsible Backpack | Lightweight, Water Resistant, 15L

I don't need to carry much with me on a plane when I check luggage. This is perfectly sized for what I need. It has shoulder straps for easy carrying and a sternum strap for added comfort. Has bottle pouches on each side. The only criticism I would have is I rather have it a plain color, not a picture on it. But this daypack is so great, I don't mind the picture.

My wife and I took these packs with us to Portugal last month. We both agreed they were one of the most valuable items that we brought on the trip. When you have to pack light (carry on), and still need a decent day pack during your trip, this pack is the best! Well constructed, easy to pack, has water bottle holders and well thought out compartments. We will definitely be taking these packs on all of our future travels.

Really impressed with this bag, from top to bottom. When they say lightweight packable they're not kidding. THis closes down to about the size of a paperback book. I haven't loaded it too heavily yet but it looks pretty durable. Great for an overnight's worth of clothes.

I have used a couple of collapsible bags like this for trips in the past. They come in handy for day excursions, packing extra souvenirs and the like. This one is a nice option since it has a few pockets for water bottles and smaller items as well as the main compartment. I think the design is attractive too. The zippers work smoothly on mine and it is easy to collapse it back down when you are finished. The fabric is a little heavier than my little Osprey pack, so this one doesn’t pack as small, but that’s more of a trade off than a negative. All in all it’s a nice choice.

This little backpack is a great day pack. It looks just like the pictures and although it's made from recycled plastic, it feels like a nylon bag. It folds down easily to fit back inside of the pouch, which doubles as a pocket when the bag is out and open. I went on a trip to Thailand a few years back and just had one of those nylon drawstring backpacks to carry around. It came in handy when I bought a liquid from a foreign airport that I wouldn't have been able to have in my carry-on going through US customs. I ended up having to go back and check my carry-on with the item inside but luckily I had the small drawstring bag to keep on my person for essentials. Unfortunately that bag ripped during the trip. THIS bag would have been SO MUCH BETTER than my little cheap nylon drawstring backpack. This bag is definitely sturdier, it has an actual zipper compartment, thicker, lightly padded straps for comfort, TWO side slots for water bottles, phone charger, or whatever, and the straps have loops for keyring or anything else that might be needed. It was hard to decide which pattern to choose as I prefer black and darker colors to hide stains and be more versatile, which attracted me to the Kenai. But the other patterns were also so pretty and vibrant! I don't need them all but I'm so tempted to buy more.
