When I pulled back the safety seal in the container of this product, the powder seemed to have little areas of yellow colored powder within the mostly whitish powder. I thought maybe it needed to be stirred up to better mix it, so I did.
It mixes well with water and the taste is pleasant. I’m not a huge fan of melatonin(it often makes me wake up with a headache) but I figured I could tolerate the 5 mg in this.
Consuming this product just before bedtime, did help me feel relaxed and fall asleep, but my sleep only lasted for a few hours when I woke up and had to use the bathroom and then had trouble falling back to sleep and had to take another herbal supplement. I tried it several times with the same results. The melatonin did not give me a headache.
So, perhaps it works better for keeping some people asleep all night, but not me. It may work better for you, so if you’re trying out natural sleep supplements to find your best match, this one’s worth trying👍🏻

I have used previously melatonin on rare occasions and honestly never could tell whether it definitively helped. So I decided to try this powder and have used it several times. What I have found is that I do seem to get drowsy within 30 minutes of drinking. Is it placebo effect? I can’t say but do not think so. The unexpected benefit is that I noticed less night cramps in my legs and muscles seem more relaxed. This was surprising but I suspect should not have been given the ingredients/minerals. I do think this contributed to overall more restful sleep.
For me the taste is perfectly fine. If you use melatonin only, give this a shot.
