My dog was very patient as we applied this.

My miniature schnauzer is a wonderful family pet with a really good disposition. My daughter and I sat on the couch, and we laid him on his back between us. I gave him a belly rub while she massaged this moisturizing balm into his paws.We first tried to rub his paw against the stick, but not very much came off. So, my daughter ended up rubbing her fingernail across the top of the balm to get a small amount. We then used that to massage it into his paws. Next time, we will trim the fur around his feet first, making it easier to access his pads. Considering he was laying on his back through the whole application process, he really was a good sport. He does like the smell of the balm container because he kept trying to lick it.About 40 minutes after the application, he was laying on the tile floor in my bathroom when I started to hear a funny noise. It was at that point that he was trying to lick it off of his paws, and his toenails were scraping across the tile. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him lick his paw pads before, so at least the ingredients are safe. His pads look much better, even after he licked at them for a good 20 minutes.

Organic, made in the USA and it works!

We have four senior miniature dachshunds and live in Texas. So, their little paws tend to get raw after walks regardless of the weather. So, I was excited to find this balm that contains quality organic ingredient because I don’t have to worry them getting nasty chemicals in their mouths. This balm is easy to apply, goes on smooth, has a mild pleasant scent and seems to help sooth their feet. Of course, they still manage to lick it off but at least that doesn’t worry me like it would with other balms!

Good product

My pup gets dry feet from walking on the hot pavement where we live in Florida. I tried one of these products that you have to apply with your fingers and that was so inconvenient. This roll on is so much more convenient and it makes sense to have this form. It's paraben free, and it doesn't have added fragrance from what I could tell. It's safe for the dog to lick it. We're very happy with it.

My dog loves to lick it

It's pretty messy to rub this stuff on and in between my dogs paws while she's fighting me but it does seem to work. My problem is that my dog loves to lick it when I let her go even when I hold her for an extended period to let it absorb. She just likes the taste I guess. I probably would not buy it again, i think the price is a little high.

Pawsome!

This is a nice balm. Honestly if I hadn't already used it on my dogs paws, I might like to use it for myself as well. My pup gets dry paws and elbows, so I thought it would be nice to get something like this to help moisturize them for her, especially with winter coming. It works well, but she likes to lick it off so I don't think it's quite as beneficial as it would be if she left it alone. I try to sit with her for at least 5 minutes after applying it so it has a chance to absorb a bit, so even though she often licks it off afterwards, it still has definitely improved the dryness :) The balm isn't too sticky or oily and it seems to absorb pretty readily. It has barely any scent and I really appreciate that the ingredients are all organic and it's all oil and wax, no other funky chemicals or ingredients. Overall I'm very happy with this product
