My hair was super moisturized and felt healthy. Shined well. Thick like a hair mask should be.
I have medium to coarse 'wavy' hair. It is mostly gray, and lacks moisture. New to hair masks. I like this one. Smells good and effective. I would say after 1 application on shampooed hair, mids and down, I got about a 60% boost in moisture. Some of the wave has come back. My hair is not damaged. Just dry, more frizz than curl. If you have hair similar to mine, I highly recommend this product.
I really don’t remember why I abandoned Shea Moisture in the first place. The picture does no justice as to how this mask actually kept me from cutting my hair off. No drama, I am absolutely serious.About 4 years ago all I used was the Curl Smoothie and conditioner from the pink line and their Miracle Styler. My hair was perfect and grew so fast. Then I stopped and switched up my products to whatever was cheapest.I have low porosity, 2B/2C curls and live in a dry climate with very hard water. It’s done some damage and I wish I took a before pic.I re-purchased the Smoothie and the Miracle Styler recently and noticed a big difference, but my hair was still dry and breaking. So I took a chance on the mask and my oh my! I could not be happier. The mask is thick, but my hair is bouncy, soft and moisturized.It hasn’t looked or felt this pretty in a long, long time.Heat is the key to activating the magic here. Just apply to sopping wet hair, rake through and squish. Repeat a few times until it’s evenly coated. Follow the directions on the back and stick to around 30 minutes. Rinse with cool water and style.Now I feel like I can confidently start the CGM again and embrace my natural color and texture as I grow out the dye.
