  1. Prepare Your Coffeemaker: Ensure your CHEMEX Coffeemaker is clean and ready for use.
  2. Select Your Coffee: Choose your preferred coffee beans and grind them to a medium-coarse consistency.
  3. Place the Filter: Open a CHEMEX coffee filter and place it in the top of the coffeemaker, ensuring the thicker side is facing the spout.
  4. Add Coffee Grounds: Measure and add the desired amount of coffee grounds into the filter.
  5. Boil Water: Heat fresh, filtered water to just below boiling (about 200°F or 93°C).
  6. Bloom the Coffee: Pour a small amount of hot water over the coffee grounds to allow them to bloom for about 30 seconds.
  7. Brew: Slowly pour the remaining hot water over the grounds in a circular motion, allowing the coffee to drip through the filter.
