Durable, treat filling-friendly chew bone

This rubber chew bone is slightly on the softer texture of rubber bones. The ends each offer a space to put treats. A more enclosed end for smaller treats like peanut butter or little bisquits and a bigger end for larger treats. The middle is solid and good for puppies to sink their teeth on to. This one has lasted a couple months so far and so I consider it a durable product. Overall, I would recommend this for teething puppies of a medium to large breed, though it doesn't have a lot of weight to it and smaller dogs can hold onto it too.

So far so good! Fits one ice cube in the more open end!

Our border collie loves to lick wet food ice cubes. We've been using Kongs, but that tiny little hole at the bottom leads to a bit of dribble. This "bone" seems to be working much better on a couple fronts. First, there is no dribble hole. Sure, she's licking an ice cube so there is bound to be some mess, but it feels like it's all going in the right direction. Second, and this might be me anthropomorphizing, she seems to enjoy the shape as it is easier to hold like a natural bone.Honestly, the rubber itself is pretty soft, and so I don't have super high hopes for the longevity of this toy BUT as of right now, it's definitely a 5 star toy. Probably not great for super chewers, but it has survived the dishwasher a couple times, and so far it's been great. We don't use the semi-closed end at all. I'm worried about the "flaps" being chewed off. Also - this bone did indeed come with a smell that our dog seemed to enjoy. It was definitely more than a normal rubber smell, but it wasn't quite minty. The smell is mostly gone after a couple dishwasher runs, and I'm not complaining. I don't really need the toy to have its own smell as we add our own.

Give the dog a Beco bone! ;o)

I would not recommend getting this product for really aggressive chewers because it feels kind of squishy compared to our Kong toy so I would think that an aggressive chewer may ruin it fairly easily. We have a 6 month old standard Goldendoodle who I would consider to be an average chewer and this works good for him. It's not completely hollow on the inside which is actually a good thing in my opinion. I was able to stick some peanut butter into the round side and my dog was able to get it all out of there. You could also freeze it with the peanut butter inside for extended enjoyment. I was able to put a bully stick into the criss cross side which made it easier for him to chew on it. My dog really seems to enjoy this Beco dog chew toy!

Very cute and squishy bone

Super cute toy. Looks like a natural bone but it's a soft squishy rubber. Pretty durable too and fun to throw to play fetch since it bounces around. Looks really cute when my dogs have it in their mouths because it looks like those old cartoon images of dogs with bones in their mouths. The hollow inside makes it fun to stuff some peanut butter inside it as well. Nice addition to the plethora of dog toys our pups are spoiled with.

Not very challenging, but dog likes it

The chew bone arrived in a box, but the edges of it had someone been scuffed and had black marks on both ends that would not clean off. It didn't seem to be dangerous, so we filled it with treats and let our dog have at it.She was easily able to get treats out, as the hole is on the larger side, so she was probably happy about that. Compared to other dog toys that hold treats, we prefer them to be a bit challenging to engage the dog longer. The toy is not made with thick rubber - it's definitely on the flexible side - but has so far held up to our black Lab.While there's technically nothing wrong with it, it's more of a toy bone than a treat dispenser, and not a sturdy toy bone at that for larger dogs.
